Full Time Position

Sample of Responsibilities/Duties

- applicant must have at least 2 years experience as a server in a casual fine dining or high volume restaurant
- have the ability to give outstanding customer service
- must have basic food and bar knowledge
- must have valid TABC certification
- must have valid Food Handlers Certification
- must be able to lift 50lbs.
- must be able to work late nights, weekends, and holidays

Bowling and Karaoke Desk Attendant / Dining Host

The core responsibilities and overall duties of the Reservation Desk here at The Highball are diverse, as diverse and unique as The Highball itself. The Reservation desk would be considered the central operating system to the entire establishment as well as employees. Your position sets up The Highball for the evening and sets the overall first impression for patrons and general public.

Below is a list of attributes and characteristics that are needed for this position.

- Capable of being responsible for tasks and executing them.
- Thinking ahead of the clock; anticipating the needs of patrons as well as co-workers.
- Staying productive with running duties as well as being helpful during drink and food rushes.
- Logging reservations and incoming guests on wait list properly
- Tracking rental fees, etc.
- Thinking at a moments notice to make spaces for walk-ins and unexpected situations
- Data Entry for spreadsheets
- Capable of filing documents related to rentals and equipment
- Delegating as well as being delegated to
- Responsible for tracking of prizes and merchandise for game winners of the The Highball as well as ticket tracking and prizes that were received.
