txmpa-hbTXMPA Monthly Central Texas Meeting/Mixer
Featuring Oge Young, Producer of Sony Online Entertainment’s DC Universe Online

You’re cordially invited to the Texas Motion Picture Alliance’s Monthly Central Texas Meeting/Mixer at The Highball on Sunday, March 28 from 5-7pm.  Please join us for this free event, and remember it’s open to the public, so we encourage you to invite your friends, colleagues and associates to attend as well.

THIS MONTH’S GUEST:
Oge Young, TXMPA board member and producer of Sony Online Entertainment’s highly anticipated DC Universe Online game will join us for a conversation, show-and-tell and Q&A. Previously a producer at Midway Games and Electronic Arts, Oge has 14 years of experience managing software and game production, and has been credited on over 15 titles that have collectively shipped over 30 million units, including such hits as EA’s Madden NFL series. He is also very tall.

ABOUT OUR CENTRAL TEXAS MONTHLY MEETING/MIXER:
Join the Texas Motion Picture Alliance the last Sunday of every month at the Highball where we’ll feature industry guests spanning film, tv, commercials and video games, offering behind-the-scenes peeks at their projects along with perspectives on the Texas production incentives program.  Then, stick around after our meeting/speaker (5-6pm), when we’ll have a networking mixer from 6-7pm, and of course you’re encouraged to avail yourselves of The Highball’s excellent bar, dinner menu, bowling, skeeball and karaoke – not to mention a $4 White Russian drink special.

ABOUT TXMPA:
The Texas Motion Picture Alliance is the statewide industry advocacy organization for film, TV, commercial and video game makers. We have led the charge for increased and improved production incentives legislation to grow the creative industries in Texas and keep us competitive with other states. As of March 1st, the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program has invested $35 million in grants resulting in $427 million in Texas production spending and 37,401 cast and crew jobs for Texans.

Please RSVP and spread the word, and support our cause by joining, renewing or donating at http://txmpa.org (and you can also follow us on Twitter @txmpa).
